How can I share my recruit’s information with family members and friends in Sandboxx?
Introduction
Connecting with your recruit and sharing their information with family and friends on Sandboxx ensures everyone stays in touch during their training journey. Sandboxx makes this process both secure and straightforward through the built-in features of the application. This article explains how to share your recruit’s details, restrictions on sharing, and best practices to follow.
Using the Support Squad to Share Recruit Information
The easiest way to share your recruit’s information with others is by creating a Support Squad within the Sandboxx app. The Support Squad ensures that everyone can easily send letters and stay updated.
Steps to Set Up a Support Squad
Open the Sandboxx app and go to the "Squad" icon.
Add your recruit’s address and related details to your Support Squad.
Invite family and friends to join your squad. They will receive an invitation via email.
Once your invitees accept, they will be able to view the address and send letters through Sandboxx.
Note: The address information added to the Support Squad is securely shared only among approved squad members.
Sharing Restrictions to Ensure Security
While Sandboxx provides convenient tools for sharing recruit information, certain limitations and rules apply to maintain security and privacy:
The link containing your recruit’s information is tied to the phone number or email address it was sent to. It cannot be transferred or shared with others outside your account.
To share recruit details with family and friends, use the Support Squad feature.
These restrictions prevent unauthorized access and help ensure that your recruit’s address remains private and secure.
How to Initially Receive Your Recruit’s Address
Your recruit will list family contact information (phone numbers or email addresses) on their Family Access Card during their first week of training if they are at a base that has a Sandboxx briefing. We do not currently brief at every boot camp location. Sandboxx uses this information to send invitations via text or email. Once connected:
Your recruit’s new mailing address will appear in your Sandboxx address book.
For those unable to connect initially, the complete address is often mailed home within the first two weeks of training.
Avoid sending letters until you have a confirmed address to prevent delays or mail returns.
Best Practices for Sharing Recruit Information
Always use Sandboxx’s tools like Support Squad for sharing recruit addresses and avoid using unauthorized methods.
Double-check that recruit details are accurately added in the app before sharing access with family.
Keep your Sandboxx account information up-to-date with current phone numbers and email addresses to ensure timely notifications.
By following these steps and guidelines, you can foster a supportive network for your recruit while safeguarding their personal information.
