In order to change the email on your account, there are a few things you need to consider.
Did you sign up in the app using social media authorization like Facebook, Google, or Apple?
Did you sign up using the login with email option?
Did you sign up using phone number authentication?
CHANGE EMAIL ON ACCOUNT WITH SOCIAL MEDIA AUTHORIZATION METHOD
In this case, you signed up by selecting Continue with Google, Continue with Facebook or Continue with Apple. You cannot change your email linked with these sign-in methods. Instead, you would have to log out of the app, and create a brand new profile by selecting 'log in using Email'.
Once you've done this our Customer Happiness Team can move your letters from your previous account to your new account, however, we can not transfer the letters already sent to that new account.
CHANGE EMAIL ON ACCOUNT WITH EMAIL LOGIN METHOD
If you have an account that you created using Login with Email you can follow these 5 easy steps to update your email:
Go to Profile
Go to Gear Icon (top right)
Click on Change Email
Update email and enter current password on your account
Click Save
You can then go back to the Home Tab or Profile Tab to continue using the app.
ADD EMAIL TO ACCOUNT WITH PHONE NUMBER LOGIN METHOD
If you have an account that you created using Phone number authentication, you can follow these steps to add your email:
Go to Profile
Go to Gear Icon (top right)
Click on Change Email
Enter email and enter new password on your account
Click Save
