At Sandboxx we are always working hard to listen to our Sandboxx customers and Sandboxx families. In this series, learn more about people who utilize Sandboxx to stay connected with their recruits and trainees. Here is Nathaly's story about how Sandboxx helped her stay connected with her recruit:

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself and your recruit or your recent graduate. Where are you from? Which branch of the military is your recruit in?

My name is Nathaly. I am from New Jersey, and my parents are from Colombia. I’ve known my boyfriend since I was about 14. Now I am 20 and we are happily dating. He has always wanted to join a branch in the military so he decided to go into the Air Force.

2. How did sending letters with Sandboxx help you connect and stay in touch with your recruit during basic training?

I have found that Sandboxx has helped me communicate and feel close to my boyfriend. It has been hard because I am new to all of this, and in this circumstance he cannot use his phone, but Sandboxx has been absolutely great. It helps me keep in contact and remind him how much I love him, and also remind him that he can do it!

3. How did you first hear about Sandboxx? After using it for a while, what do you think about Sandboxx?

I actually heard about Sandboxx through a friend of my boyfriend. It was a girl, she told him how helpful it was, and how it will help us keep in contact quicker and more efficiently. I think Sandboxx is great !! I absolutely recommend!

4. Any plans for your recruit after basic training? What’s next for you or for them?

Well, for my recruit I am not sure. He will just be going to tech school after. For me I’ll be continuing my degree at college trying to finish. For now we are just getting the hang of things, but we do want to get married very soon.
