Sandboxx Memory Books are made to cherish your favorite memories from basic training because your letters deserve to be displayed proudly. Your memory book features every letter and photo you've sent your service member in a quality, hardcover book. It’s super easy to create one, simply tap a few buttons in the Sandboxx app and your Memory Book will be shipped directly to you.
What comes in my Memory Book?
Your Memory Book is filled with every letter and photo you have sent to your recruit during basic training, through your order date. We recommend you wait to order your Memory Book until you have written your last letter to your recruit in order to ensure all of your letters and photos are in your book. Please make sure the letter has been sent out before you place your order to make sure it's included in the book. If you've submitted the letter but it hasn't been sent, it won't be added. At this time we're unable to add additional photos or text to your book, but stay tuned for additional Memory Book features coming soon!
What’s the easiest way to create a memory book?
Ordering one (or two or three…) is easier than ever with the Sandboxx app or via the Sandboxx website on a computer. Simply tap “Get Your Book” on the Letters Home screen. No need to organize your photos and letters—that’s our job. Next, preview your custom Memory Book. Whether you’re ordering a book for yourself, or as a gift, don’t forget to add the recipient’s shipping address. Then tap “Place Your Order” and we’ll take care of the rest.
Don’t worry, we’ll keep you up to date on its progress with tracking updates via email.
How much does a Memory Book cost?
A custom memory book starts at $39.99 plus tax and shipping.
When should I consider making a Memory Book?
There's no such thing as documenting too many moments! Don't regret missing out on making a quality keepsake now before basic training becomes a distant memory. After all, memories are fleeting – that's why a custom photo book is invaluable. We recommend ordering your custom Memory book after you’ve written your last letter to your recruit at basic training and it has been sent. Memory Books make a great keepsake for you, family, and friends, or as a graduation gift for your recruit.
Can I create my own Memory Book layout?
There is currently only one Memory Book layout, and cover color available. But stay tuned, we’re working on more customizations!
Does my Memory Book have a page limit?
Memory Books have a maximum page limit of 275 pages. In addition, we're unable to add additional photos or text to your book at this time. The books don't come with extra blank pages at this time.
Can I purchase a Memory Book as a gift?
Absolutely! Simply update the recipient's shipping address accordingly before checkout.
What if I write to multiple recruits?
If you have written letters to multiple recruits, please reach out to our Customer Happiness team for assistance before placing your order. We will archive the letters for one recruit so only those letters sent to your chosen recruit will be in the book. If you don't have the letters archived, they will all be combined into your book.
