The Sandboxx community is full of people who want to support one another during training. To help keep the Letter-donation process smooth, fair, and secure, here’s a simple guide on how to donate your unused Letters — or how to receive donated Letters for your trainee.

✍️ How to Donate Your Letters

If you have unused Letters and want to pass them along to someone who needs them, follow these steps:

  1. Create a post in the community stating that you have Letters available to donate.

  2. When someone comments to claim them, send them a direct message with the email address linked to your Sandboxx account.

  3. Wait for the recipient to invite you to their Support Squad.

  4. Once the invite arrives, join their Squad — you’ll then be able to donate your Letters directly there.

  5. Required: After the transfer is complete, update your original post to “CLAIMED.” This helps keep the board clear and prevents confusion.

📥 How to Receive Donated Letters

If you’re hoping to receive Letters for your trainee, here’s what to do:

  1. In your Sandboxx account, create a Support Squad for your trainee (if you haven’t already).

  2. Comment on a donor’s post to claim their available Letters.

  3. The donor will send you their Sandboxx email via DM — use that email to invite them to your Squad.

  4. After they accept the invitation, they can donate Letters directly into your Squad.

⚠️ Important Guidelines

To keep the process safe, fair, and useful for everyone, please keep these rules in mind:

  • Only the person receiving Letters should send the Squad invite. Each Squad can support only one designated trainee, so the recipient must initiate the invitation.

  • Donors should never share their Sandboxx email publicly. Always exchange account information through direct messages.

  • Please avoid monopolizing the board. Limit yourself to claiming Letters from just one post per week so more families have the opportunity to receive support.

  • Remember: this space is visible across all military branches. Share information responsibly.

  • Do not post requests for Letters. Request posts will be removed — this space is intended solely for giving.
